Paper Quarry was founded by Michelle Constantine Hibbs in 2016 as an outlet for making and selling hand marbled paper, hand bound books and paper goods. 

Michelle is an artist, designer and educator who works primarily in mixed media and printmaking. She has been an educator for 15 years and has taught classes in design foundation, printmaking, mixed media, bookbinding and digital design. She loves teaching and connecting with creative people. Michelle was a recipient of the Outstanding Instructor Award at UCLA Extension (2015) and a nominee of the Great Teacher Award at ArtCenter College of Design (2021). Michelle is currently the master printer and paper marbler at Paper Quarry in Los Angeles, CA.
